Mountains of Ararat:   Ararat is a place which is in modern day Armenia, Europe, near the banks of Lake Van (also known in ancient times as Urartu).   It is most famous in the Bible as the final resting place of Noah's Ark, following the great flood.   Several thousand years later, when writing his famous comic opera Iolanthe, a certain W.S. Gilbert named one of the protaganists "Lord Mountararat" (no relation)!
